Now in our 94th year, Petersburg Medical Center continues to serve the residents and guests of Petersburg with up-to-date, quality medical services.
Our primary care clinic, home health service and long-term care center are fully integrated with the acute care hospital. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day.
Owned by the City of Petesburg, the medical center is a charter member of the Alaska Small Hospital Performance Improvement Network (ASHPIN) and the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association (ASHNHA).

Dr. Bergren is a board certified family practice physician that came to Petersburg in 1998. He received his medical training at University of California and completed his residency at Tacoma Family of Medicine.
