Our primary care clinic, home health service and long-term care center are fully integrated with the acute care hospital. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day.
Owned by the City of Petesburg, the medical center is a charter member of the Alaska Small Hospital Performance Improvement Network (ASHPIN) and the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association (ASHNHA).
We truly care about your health. This is your medical center, providing convenient, optimum health care in your home community.
Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapy department is staffed by two licensed physical therapists who provide services to patients with orthopedic, neurological, medical or developmental disabilities. We work with you to achieve and maintain mobility and quality of life. We help you move forward so that you can get back to daily living.
Regardless of the reason for your disability, your physical therapist will evaluate you and will work with you to develop an effective personalized plan of care.

Upon referral from your physician, services are provided to inpatients or outpatients.
While most of our patients are referred to us by the physicians of the Petersburg Medical Center, we accept referrals from out of town physicians.
