About Us
Now in our 92nd year, Petersburg Medical Center continues to serve the residents and guests of Petersburg with up-to-date, quality medical services.
Our primary care clinic, home health service and long-term care center are fully integrated with the acute care hospital. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day.
Owned by the City of Petesburg, the medical center is a charter member of the Alaska Small Hospital Performance Improvement Network (ASHPIN) and the Alaska State Hospital and Nursing Home Association (ASHNHA).
We truly care about your health. This is your medical center, providing convenient, optimum health care in your home community.
Tree of Life
Visit the “Tree of Life” quilt which is hanging in the hallway near the lab.
Each leaf carries a name of a loved one that has been touched by cancer.
This tree illustrates our support of those currently battling cancer, celebrates those that have survived and remembers those we have lost to cancer.
It was a gift of the Rain Country Quilters to the Beat The Odds Committee and the town of Petersburg in October 2008.
The “Tree of Life” quilt was designed by Darcey Judy and generously created by a group of local quilters.
