Students will be working on a joint project on endangered animals in conjunction with Golden Wings geography and language arts classes. Be sure to ask your student for supporting documents and information.
Day 1: Objective - List three ways species are spread
Notes and discussion on 2-2 (Cycles) and 2-3 (BioGeo)
Vocab book page 39 on first set of words.
Day 2:
Objective - Name an animal by _Genus_ and _species_
More class time for books. Finish as homework.
Quick review on binomial nomenclature
Check on Range Maps and how progressing. Pass out South AMerica map sheet as option
If time allows - to computer lab for seating chart
Day 3:
Objective - Accurately display the range of an animal on a map
DeFillippo labtime in rm 19
Research time in Lab 19 for Range map and note sheet (DeFelippo)
Finish vocab books, note sheet, range map and SNA as needed
Day 4:
Take in SNA’s and announce quiz for next week vocab - Day 2
