Our side
We began as a result of our Squires long held dream of having a Morris Group after attending the University of East Anglia in Norwich in England. A minor note on this, we have no idea if she ever attended any classes while there as she never talks about them.  She seemed to either just Morris Dance or go hiking and caving with her numerous boyfriends.  The boyfriends are out of her system but not Morris Dancing.
Had our Alaskan born leader never gone to UEA, we would have been left with no Morris at all in Alaska.  Alaska was Morris Dance  free until 1994 but it may have had Morris Dancers back when Capt Cook was here.  You would have to go all the way to Vancouver B.C. to find the next Morris Group aka VMM and Blacksheep. A distance of 2,000 plus miles.

We have danced in many different places since then.  England, twice, Seattle, twice and on a Glacier.  In a small fishing village named Seldovia to an old mining and farming town.  As a mixed side, and far from all other Morris teams, we have decided to try numerous styles if only to invite all traditions equally to the Alaska table.

So here we are.  We are working on dances and attending festivals and other venues to build up our performance.  We hope you enjoy the performances as much as we when we have performed them.

We prefer IPA's and as the webmaster I prefer darker stouts as an aside.

The Fiddler prefers a nice Pinot Noir over any Ale and this is due to her mate in life more than anything else.
