• Family Law practice with litigation of divorce and child custody matters, children's matters, appellate matters, probate matters and mediation.
• Act as Custody Investigator or Guardian ad litem. Establish and litigate Guardianships.
• Litigate no less than six trials per year with multiple motion hearings before the Superior Court.
• Represented at least five clients before the Alaska Supreme Court in various appeals and petitions for review.
• Litigate cases involving the Indian Child Welfare Act, the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act, the federal Parental Prevention of Kidnapping Act and the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act.
• Some Criminal Defense work (my last major case was a 19 day trial defending, as co-counsel, eight counts of sexual abuse of a minor - State v. Klingbiel). See appeal Klingbiel v. State by Public Defender.

• Designed and supervised the re-construction of portions of the electrical systems in the San Diego County Administrative Building. (Over 1,000,000.00 Contract)
• Designed and supervised several projects at the University of California, San Diego, and the University Medical Center.
• Multiple other power, telephone and lighting design and construction supervision projects including several libraries and office structures.
• Prepared construction specification packages, i.e. technical writing.

• Provided design assistance for construction of power, telephone and lighting in several hospitals, banks, office buildings and universities.

• Interior Communications Electrician. Discharged as E-5 or Second Class Petty Officer with Presidential Unit Commendation on my record and multiple other medals for good conduct and Vietnam service.
