Welcome to the South Anchorage church of Christ website!

The South Anchorage church traces its roots to Day of Pentecost described in Acts 2. On that day when the Holy Spirit came upon Peter and the other eleven apostles present, some 1,970 years ago, the Lord Jesus Christ’s church began. How Jesus Christ expected His church, or body of believers, to conduct themselves in their Christian walk including their worship activities was unambiguously described and recorded in the New Testament by the action of the Holy Spirit through the inspired testimony of Matthew, Mark, Luke, Paul, James, Peter, John, and Jude. Our only desire is to achieve and live according to the standard the Lord’s expectations represent.

Our obedience to this standard and the love of God drive us to forever seek and welcome all whom the Lord adds to his church on the basis of obedience to His own standards. We also invite all, independent of the aforementioned basis, to use this website to learn more of the Lord and how one may be added to and remain in His church (body).
