2009-10 Alaska Design Challenge Applicatoin:
A Competitive Event for Seniors in Technology Education

Seniors in Technology Education are invited to participate in a problem solving competition named the 2009-10 Alaska Design Challenge. The two participants who rank highest in the competition will win a trip to Anchorage, Alaska where they will present their solution to the Anchorage School District Career and Technology Education Annual Conference in February 2010 and receive a $1,000 stipend.

  1. Participants are to be Technology Education majors (undergraduate or graduate) who will graduate in the spring or summer of 2010 with a teaching certificate/licensure.
  2. All participants are to complete an on-line application below.
  3. Participants can compete as individuals or in groups of two (2) to complete the design challenge.
  4. After the on-line application has been received and promptly reviewed the 2009-10 Alaska Design Challenge will be e-mailed to the participant.
  5. The solution to the design challenge is to be submitted electronically by the October 30, 2009 deadline to the designated e-mail address
