FREE FISH:

I occasionally have some fish that for various reasons escaped culling as small fry, because they have a minor defect that I didn't catch, or that suffer a cosmetic injury to a fin.  This makes them inappropriate to sell, and sometimes unsuitable as breeders.  They are healthy and generally attractive.  These I offer free to good homes.  A typical defect would be a damaged ventral fin (ventral fins are the long thin trailing fins that look like "feelers."  In some cases, a fish may just plain be too small to sell with its siblings, so it gets left behind, occupying tank space.  I have occasional fish like this that are perfectly formed, and would make good pets.  They just grow up to be on the small side. Please call or e-mail to see if I have any give-aways.

HOW TO BUY ANGELFISH FROM ME:

All fish are sold from my home in Fairbanks, Alaska.  I do not currently ship fish.  Since I work a regular day job, you will need to call (evenings or weekends) or e-mail to arrange a time to come over to select your angels.  I supply a bag to take your fish home.  In the winter, please make sure your vehicle is warm, and bring something to place or wrap the bag in to keep the fish insulated on the way home.

EXCHANGE WITH OTHER BREEDERS:

I think I have a good line of marbles, and am willing to share them with other breeders who are looking for nice marbles.  This line of marbles produces vigorous fry with excellent survival rates and virtually no defects with ordinary husbandry.  They grow rapidly and generally have good dispositions.  I will happily share some with you if you are a serious hobby breeder, and are willing to pay shipping costs.  In exchange, if you are raising a variety that I am interested in adding to my hatchery, I would request that you offer me a chance to receive some in trade.  However, if you do not have a variety I want, or are not able to ship, or if I just don't have the tank space to add more fish, I am still happy to share this line of marbles in the interest of keeping a good line going.  If you are interested in taking me up on this offer, e-mail me, and tell me a little about yourself and why you are interested in my marbles.  If you have a web page, be sure to let me know.
