Lazytea Creations is nestled in the
Matanuska River Valley of Alaska, surrounded by beauty
and nature.
I work at home with my Australian Cattle Dogs and
Shetland Sheepdog at my feet and my daughters 16 and 3
at my knee. Experience: Over 30 years in publishing, editing,
advertising, teaching, and research.
Growing up in a diverse family business, my public
relations experience began in early childhood.
I
am active in the purebred dog fancy exhibiting and
trialing my dogs in conformation, obedience, agility,
tracking, herding, as well as service dog work. I
also have roots in Steiner/Waldorf Education and
environmental science/engineering including professional
public and private presentations.
Ok - everyone eventually asks me, "Where
did you get the name "LazyTea"." Don't you think
that is a comforting thought - a Lazy Tea?
Actually, the origins lie in my husband's grandfather's
ranch in western Nebraska - his registered stock
brand was the "lazy T". Since my initials are "L Z
T" I added the capitalization for emphasis and it stuck.
(I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota)
Originally, LazyTea Creations was the name for my
natural craft business which sold handmade dolls, toys,
puppets, and clothes made from natural materials.
Health problems hampered my ability to continue
handcrafting. It didn't stop me from working with
computers!
