2008 SPECIAL PRIZES
1.  Territorial Sportsmen, Inc.:
  A. $100 cash for the largest Coho weighed in each day at each weigh-in station.
  B. $75 cash for the second largest Coho weighed in each day at each weigh-in station.
  C. $50 each for third largest Coho weighed in each day at each weigh-in station.
   
2.  Hesson and Deakins:  $350 cash largest salmon weighed in by 3pm Friday.
   
3.  Larry's Quality Heating and Plumbing and Northland Services, Inc.: $500 cash for the salmon weighed in by the oldest person - "The Old FartAngler Prize". (In the event of a tie, the largest fish wins.)
   
4.  Alaska Trollers Association: $50 cash for the largest king weighed in by a child 12 years or younger.
   
5.  Alaska Trollers Association:  $50 cash for the largest salmon weighed in each day by a child 12 years or younger.
   
6.  Alaska Pacific Bank:  $100 cash for the largest salmon weighed in on Friday by a child 12 years or younger.
   
7.  Olivers Trophies:  Trophy for largest salmon weighed in by a child 12 years or younger. $200 value.
   
8. Capitol Disposal/Waste Management: $100 cash each day for largest salmon weighed in by a child under 14 years of age.
   
9. AFL/CIO Juneau Central Labor Council: $500 cash for largest King Salmon weighed in by a Juneau Central Labor
Council affiliate (member in good standing).
   
10. Elgee Rehfeld Mertz: $100 cash for the first salmon weighed in that weighs 10.4 lbs. (aka the 1040 fish)
11. Financial Consultants of Alaska: $100 cash for the largest salmon weighed in on August 10.
   
12. Juneau Wholesale: 1 case Jones soda and 1 case Vitamin Water per day for the largest salmon weighed in by a person 65 or older.
   
13. Southeast Dental Group:
  A. $250 cash for the largest salmon weighed in
by a girl (12 years or younger).
  B. $250 cash for the largest salmon weighed in
by a boy (12 years or younger).
   
14. Rodfather's Broiler: All winners, in the top 100, except #1, 50 and 100 will receive a gift certificate for (1) sm milkshake and (1) sm fries.
   
15. Sonie's Services: $50 cash each day for largest salmon caught by a woman turned into the packer.
 
16. Juneau Archery Club: $150 cash for the largest salmon weighed in by an Adult Juneau Archery Club member.
 
17. Juneau Archery Club: $150 cash for the largest salmon weighed in by a child 16 or younger Juneau Archery Club member.
 
18. Western Auto-Marine: $100 cash for the largest salmon weighed in each day from all weigh-in stations combined by participant who purchased their derby ticket at Western Auto-Marine.
 
19. Western Auto-Marine: $50 cash for the largest king and largest Coho weighed in each day at each weigh-in station.
