664. Ebenezer Marvin Hon

I am seeking genealogical data on the Dr. Ebenezer, who resided in the Saratoga District of Albany County, NY in 1779.

Dr. Ebenezer Marvin is described as "being of Stillwater", now the Town of Stillwater, Saratoga County, NY.

In 1779 Dr. Ebenezer Marvin's property was assessed at $10.00 (probably Continental dollars).

Dr. Ebenezer Marvin signed the 1778 Saratoga District Petition to New York Governor George Clinton requesting more troops to defend the northern frontier.

Dr. Ebenezer Marvin, Samuel Bacon and Luther Brown published a handbill, of which the Albany Committee of Correspondence disapproved. The ACCOC rendered its verdict on September 27, 1777.

Dr. Ebenezer Marvin was a member of the Albany County Committee of Correspondence.

Dr. Ebenezer Marvin was a member of the ACCOC panel that examined Jotham Bemus, a notorius local Loyalist.

Dr. Ebenezer Marvin posted bail for Jotham Bemus.

Any genealogical information on Dr. Ebenezer Marvin, his wife, his children and his parents will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help.
