Solomon and his first wife Sarah Treat owned the Covenant at Portland, CT
2 Feb 1752. Sarah was NOT the mother of Frederick. Solomon and his first
wife Sarah Treat had 4 children Rachel (who died very young), Sarah,
William, and Asubah.

Solomon's second wife's name is not listed in any of the genealogy books.
Since most of the Goodrich spouses are listed, one must ask why this name was
left out. The two oldest sons of Mark Godrich b. 28 Aug 1897 were both told by
there father that one of the Goodrich ancestors married an american indian
and they had indian blood. This information was obtained from Mark's
sons on Sept 1, 1991 at the Goodrich family reunion in Hunter, NY after it was
known that the name of Solomon's wife was one of the pieces of information
still unknown.
