1367. Frederick Goodrich
We had to prove that Frederick Goodrich was the son of Solomon Goodrich.
There was a discrepancy between the Hale House Book and Goodrich Family book.
Goodrich Family book lists Frederick son of Solomon died as an infant.
Hale House documents Frederick son of Solomon lived (1771-1860) for 90 years.
The dates on the gravestone of Frederick Goodrich agrees with the information
in Hale House. Therefore, family feels that Hale House by Jacobus was
correct.Another problem was determining the father of Buckley Goodrich. Buckley was
the son of Lydia Chapman. Lydia's first marriage was to Levi Buckeley. Buckley
could have been named in honor of Levi's death. In the back of the
Rev. F.W. Chapmans 1854 book on the Chapman family (under William Chapman
sketch) the following information states: that Lydia Chapman had no
children by the first marriage and there were three children by the second
marriage. The Chapman book also states Frederick Goodrich and Sarah Chapman
were married 24 Nov 1791 and Bulkley was born October 23 1792 who latter married
Phelena Pelton. Therefore, Bulkley must have been the son of Fredereick
Goodrich. We had to prove that Frederick Goodrich was the son of Solomon Goodrich.

Sarah Chapman was a widower when she married Frederick Goodrich.
Her first husband was Levi Buckeley. She was also the daughter of
