In this presentation, Doug talks about his experience of leaving Alaska to relearn skiing.  Upon his return, he and three others embarked upon the creation of Challenge Alaska, which is now known nationally and internationally for its progressive outdoor recreation program.

 

The only thing permanent in life is change

Doug's frank discussion on the physical, mental and professional changes he has experienced in 30 years since his accident.  This presentation is straight-forward and humorous, giving everyone in the audience a lesson they can apply to their own life.
