We like to have at least six persons aboard for a cruise, and we will combine small parties with similar travel plans. So don't despair if there are just two of you! You will likely meet and enjoy other folks on your Adventure Afloat.

Two versions of a Stephens Passage whalewatching/bearwatching cruise:
1. The basic cruise, August 11 – 17, 2008: This is a week of visiting lots of whales, the bears at Pack Creek, Tracy Arm, sea lion haulouts, and investigating a different bay or cove each evening. We leave Aurora Harbor in downtown Juneau by 9 am on August 11 and return to Aurora Harbor before noon on August 17. For this six-day cruise, $3,606.31/person covers all expenses for the week except alcoholic beverages, fishing license and gratuity (10 – 20%).
2. A shorter option, August 14 - 17, 2008: Fly in from Juneau to meet VALKYRIE at Pack Creek on August 14. Visit the bears, whales, and sea lion haulouts, and return to Aurora Harbor before noon on August 17. For this three-day cruise, $1,887.31/person covers your portion of the floatplane flight and all other expenses plus except for alcoholic beverages, fishing license and gratuity (10 – 20%).
Petersburg to Juneau Special, July 11 - 15, 2008: This is a fantastic four-day cruise for the price of three days: $1,803.64/person. You’ll leave Petersburg at about 3:00 pm on July 11, cruise Frederick Sound and Stephens Passage, taking in Tracy Arm, sea lion haulouts, watch whales, and investigate four different coves or bays when we anchor there for the evening. Try catching dinner off the stern while we are at anchor. We will return to Aurora Harbor in downtown Juneau before noon on Tuesday, July 15. Your price includes everything except for alcoholic beverages, fishing license, and gratuity (10 – 20%).
5-day Photographer’s Dream cruise, July 25 – 30, 2008: This cruise will have a similar cost and itinerary to the August 19 – 24 Glacier Bay cruise, discussed below. We are targeting guests who want to photograph whales and other marine wildlife, as well as glacier country. We need at least six guests to hold this cruise, so if you are interested, let us know as soon as possible.
Glacier Bay cruise, August 19 – 24, 2008: Leave A5 Aurora Harbor, in downtown Juneau on August 19, cruise to Swanson Harbor. The next day we will cruise up Icy Straits, past the whales at Point Adolphus, and anchor in Bartlett Cove, Glacier Bay. Days three and four will be spent cruising the bay to see glaciers and wildlife. We will leave Glacier Bay on Day five, retracing the Icy Strait waters to anchor in Funter Bay. On August 24 (day 6) we’ll return to Juneau’s Auke Bay harbor before noon. Each evening will be spent investigating a different harbor via kayak or seacycle, hopping a ride to the beach in our skiff, or fishing off the stern deck of VALKYRIE. Your price of $3,063.16/person includes everything except for alcoholic beverages, fishing license, and gratuity (10 – 20%).
Two-day Taku Harbor special: You choose the dates, $624.38/person, with a minimum of six guests.
