Do you know what this building is?
When was it built?  Where is it now?

Tickler 2 Solution
This cabin was built in 1915.  Do you know where it is?
Congratulations to Linda Haynes..  She answered with this email:
The cabin is located in Heaven's Hayfield, off of Mile 2 Fairview Loop Road at Davis Road. Mr. and Mrs. Heaven have graciously allowed Girl Scouts to camp at the Hayfield and use the cabin for activities. The girls and I have enjoyed our adventures in "Heaven"

Answer:
The cabin is the “Reedy Cabin” built in 1915.
It was located on the trail that later became Fairview Loop Road, across  from where McHenry later built his cabin.
David Reedy was a trapper in the early 1900"s.  (His grave is in the Wasilla Cemetery) .  He used to walk to Knik for supplies and to sell his fur pelts.
The land the cabin on it was later owned by dairy farmers, Ralph and Pat Bradley.  They gave the cabin to LeRoi in 1984 and he moved it to the edge of the hayfield where it now stands..
The cabin needed a lot of restoration, from the roof to the floor, and over the years friends would come, camp out on the edge of the hayfield, and work on the restoration.

Tickler 1  Solution
What cabin is this?
When was it built?
Where was it in 1932
Where is it today?
Congratulations to Paula (Carr) Groundwater.  She is the only respondent that answered correctly.
Answer:
The cabin is the “McHenry Cabin” built in 1931.
It was located just short of mile 3 on Fairview Loop Road, just west of where Cotton Road is now.  In fact, if you look you can still see the electric pole that stood beside the cabin.
Mac McHenry raised chickens and strawberries.  He was Jewel Holstein’s father,  Ruby Church’s grandfather.
The land with the cabin on it was purchased in 1958 by the Foster Heaven family.  Their son, LeRoi, inherited it in 1970.
In 1981, when the property was again sold, LeRoi moved the cabin to the edge of his hayfield on Davis Road.  The cabin is there still.
